About Essence of Shay

Essence of Shay was started while I was in an abusive relationship and I needed a creative outlet to share my story and, possibly, help others. Over 8 years, the TigerLilee squad grew with over 25k followers & 500+ million views, and a new journey began. With this new route to healthy locs, positivity and maintaining our crowns, the goal of Essence of Shay changed. Now, my aim is to help others “aspire to inspire”. My platform’s mission is to remind our community to never forget who their number one love is; YOU.
